Finding Inspiration in Every Turn

ABOUT US
Finding inspiration in every turn
Mindar is at the cutting edge of research working with Manchester Metropolitan University’s, (MMU) AI Foundry, University of Manchester's Psychology department, Peninne Health Trust and Liverpool University’s Children and Adults Health Services (CAMHS) to test and explore how voice and sound biomarkers can detect mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety and stress rapidly and precisely.
This is a real game changer in mental health self-diagnosis. We work with key experts in complex fields to modernise mental health support.
Our Story
Mindar began as a research project to help young people with suicide issues using digital games and Augmented Reality. During the pandemic we slowed down but our team's passion to help young people never went.
We found that mental health was not only way down on the priority list but funding was used to prop up existing research. We decided to use new technologies and voices based AI and machine learning to speed up the diagnosis of mental health and deliver a fast effective service to sufferers than the mainstream. The team developed ideas and processes to help young people.
We are keen to bring mental health into the modern age.
